Reflective Journal 2 In this article, i learnt the effects of climate changes and what is happening to our earth.Firstly,the sea level is rising.During the 20th century,scientists found out that the sea level rose by 15 cm(6 inches).This is due to the glaciers and ice bergs melting.The oceans are also warming.Arctic sea ice is melting and glaciers and permafrost are melting too. More rain causes flooding and warmer temperatures has caused more intense rainfall in some places .THIS can cause flooding. Extreme droughts.Higher temperatures are causing higher evaporations and higher chances of climate changes. Ecosystems,changing.As temperatures warm,animals may or may not survive.Their body temperature cannot adapt to this type of warm and hot temperature. Hurricanes have changed,in frequency and strength.There are results that hurricanes has increased. Seawater ,more acidic.When greenhouse gases gets into the ocean ,it makes it more acidic.This could make great impacts on marine wildlife. In this article,i learnt many things that can cause climate changes and triggers the Earth.
